This package tour offers you an opportunity to know more about Beijing, the capital of China by visiting some world famous historical sites, landmarks, and the special villages around Beijing.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival / Beijing  
Transfer: by plane - own arrangement
Program: Be met at the airport and transfer to the hotel at Mutianyu Village, a villalge at foot of the Great Wall.

Day 2 (B, L)

Program: Walk around the village in the morning and then visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Transfer to downtown Beijing and check in the hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall - A less visited and more original part of the Great Wall. It is situated where vegetation is luxurious and over 90 percent of the land is covered with grass, forests and fruit trees.

Day 3 (B, L)

Program: Full day city tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City. Afteroon take a Hutong Tour to experience local Beijinger’s lifestyle. Walk around Houhai Lake before transferring back to hotel.
Tiananmen Square - The largest city square in the world.

Forbidden City - The largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

Hutong Tour - The unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side. It can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life.

Day 4 (B, L)

Program:Today you will visit another typical northern China village. Drive about 95km northwest and you will enter the mountain area with some well kept Ming & Qing villages inside. Pay a visit to Cuandixia Village, Shuangshitou Village (Double Stone Village) etc.
Cuanbai Scenic Area - Including four villages: Cuandixa Village, Shuangshitou (Double Stone) Village, Baiyu Village and Huanglingxi Village.

Cuandixia Village - Cuandixia Village is located on an ancient post road in the mountainous area, 90 kilometers west of downtown Beijing. First built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Cuandixia Village preserves about 70 courtyard houses built with stones and wood. They sit one by one following the terrain of the slopes in a valley. Its natural environment and distinctive characters make the old post stop a popular tourism resort.

Shuangshitou Village (Double Stone Village) - The village takes its name from the two huge stones in the village. Its name also suggests the village is built of stones on the ancient post road.

Day 5 (B, L)

Program: Morning visit the Summer Palace and Yonghe Lama Temple. Afternoon free at leisure.

the Summer Palace - The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

Yonghe Lama Temple - originally it was a prince mansion of Qing Dynasty , later changed to the head office of Lama administration.

Day 6 (B)
Beijing / Exit     

Transfer: by plane - own arrangement

Program: Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.
